1. Is Tailwind Driver Training Academy reliable?

A. Tailwind Driver Training Academy is accredited by the RTA and operates by legally complying with all the applicable regulations. We strive to keep our training methodologies up to date, and are committed to provide a friendly, stress-free and comfortable environment for our students to learn with ease and drive with confidence.

2. I want to learn driving with Tailwind Driver Training Academy, but in my own car. Is that possible?

A. That is absolutely fine as long as the instructor is convinced that you have enough experience to drive your car without needing dual controls. Our recommendation is to always use the instructor car for added safety.

3. Does Tailwind Driver Training Academy operate across Australia?

A. At the moment, we only operate on a select few upper-northshore suburbs of Sydney, NSW. However, we are constantly looking to expand our coverage. For the current coverage, please check the Locations Page.

4. Can I schedule a class on any day of the week?

A. Currently we operate 6 days a week. We are closed on Sundays. However, we are open to supporting you in any manner we can. Please write to us to let us know your circumstances, and we will try and schedule a class even if we are closed on the day on a best effort basis.

5. What happens if I have to cancel a class that I had booked?

A. Cancellation with full refund as credit is allowed up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Please refer to our Terms of Service for more information.

6. What happens if the instructor cancels a class?

A. In a highly unlikely scenario of the instructor cancelling the class, you will get a full refund as credit in your account.

7. I have a complaint about the instructor. How do I report it?

A. At Tailwind Driver Training Academy, we are committed to setting our training standards very high. If at any time the quality of our service does not meet the standards we have set for ourselves, we would be keen to hear from you. Please immediately write to us on info@tailwinddriving.com.au and we will be in touch to resolve the matter.

8. I am very happy with the classes and wish to leave a testimonial. How do I do this?

A. Please use the Leave Feedback button on the Testimonial page to leave us a good feedback.

9. I would like to use the instructor car for the test. Can I book the car?

A. Yes you can! We have specific Test Day and Test Day Preperation packages available just for this reason. Please check out these options on the Packages page.

10. I am running late for my class. Will the instructor wait for me?

A. Our instructors are very student-friendly and patient, and we are more than willing to wait for you as long as you let our instructor know. However, if they do not hear from you within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time of the class despite attempts to reach you, the instructors are allowed to consider the class canceled without a refund.

11. I am desperate to book a class but am unable to find a slot in the calendar. What do I do?

A. If you are looking for a slot that is unavailable, please immediately write to us, and we will, on a best effort basis, try to move other classess around to accomodate you. In case we are not able to do this, we will try and get you a class with another external instructor, provided you are comfortable with that.
