1. How do I choose a package that is right for me?

A: Choosing the right package depends on a variety of factors such as the learner's objective, driving experience and budget.

 

For example, fresh learners under the age of 25 usually needs higher number of hours of classes to learn the best driving practises and gain road confidence. In addition, for the first 10 hours with an accredited driving instructor, the learner will get a bonus 1:3 hours in the logbook (i.e., for every one hour driven under the supervision of the instructor, the learner will get 3 hours in the logbook), thereby enabling them to complete their 120 hours faster.

If the learner is an overseas license holder with many years of driving experience, and is looking to convert to an Australian license, it is likely that they will not need as many hours as a fresher. This could be even lesser for an existing Australian license holder trying to just brush up their skills.

However, none of the above can be generalised, and the requirements can vary between learners. We would encourage you to do a one hour session with us first so that we can assess your skills and recommend the best packageto help you achieve your objective.

2. How do I choose a Package and make payment?

A. Once you have decided on a package, you can click on "Select" button on the Package widget on the Packages page, and proceed with securely making the payment online using your credit or debit card. Please note that any payment using your debit or credit card may incur a processing fee which is 2.2% of the value of the package.

3. I want to avoid paying the card processing fee. Is there a way to do this?

A. Yes, we do support direct bank transfer to help you avoid the processing fee while making the payment. The steps are as follows:

​

• Create an account with Tailwind by clicking on the Sign Up button on the top right corner of the site.

• Once you have decided on the package you want to go with, transfer the package value (minus the card processing fee) into the bank pay id mentioned below. 

• Once the amount is transferred please write to us on our mobile number or in our email address available at the bottom of this website. Providing a screenshot of the payment confirmation will be helpful, but not mandatory

• Once we confirm receipt of the payment, we will credit the number of classes as per the package into your account, and you will be able to book classes online from this point
