Abreez

Life is not easy for a new migrant into the country, especially for a student who has to work multiple jobs to manage their expenses. To manage work and studies, they have to be able to reach places faster and without hassles. "I have always enjoyed the freedom of driving, whether it was in India or in the gulf where I spent a few years of my life", Abreez recalls.

Abreez, along with his younger brother, arrived in Australia in mid 2024, both of them pursuing their studies from top universities in Sydney. "I work 2 jobs to manage my expenses. I was able to drive on my Indian license in the beginning, but the time soon came for me to get an Australian license to continue driving", says Abreez. "It was not easy for me to travel to my work places or even get our grocceries, as all these places were quiet a distance away from where we live."

Abreez has driving experience in India and in the gulf regions. He had been driving for over 3 years and he decided to attempt his first driving test very soon. "It did not go my way, and my confidence got his", says Abreez. He started contemplating learning with an instructor before making his next attempt, and that is when he coincidentally happened to meet up with SK from Tailwind. "It was almost as if the opportunity came to me. I did not have to do my research to find an instructor", laughs Abreez.

In a couple of weeks, Abreez booked his first session with Tailwind. "That single session helped me grow in confidence. SK was very calm and professional. He was not keen on extracting more business from me. Instead he said that I would not required any additional sessions, and that we can just do one mock test before the actual test."

Abreez had a mock test session with Tailwind just the day before the test, and SK sounded very confident in ABreez's chances of succeeding in the test. "Honestly, I was still doubting myself. But SK appeared very confident in me. I decided to go ahead with the test the next day, as planned, and hired the instructor car from Tailwind for the test.", Abreez is unable to hold back his delight. "And I passed with a great score!"
