Anishka

Anishka joined the Tailwind family about a year ago, shortly after receiving her learner licence. We’re especially grateful to Saloni, who introduced us to Anishka’s mum, Neha, and gave us the opportunity to be part of Anishka’s driving journey.

When Anishka first started learning with us, she was in Year 12. Today, she is a first-year Business and Law student at a leading Sydney university — and now, a proud P-plater too!

Our journey with Anishka began right at the fundamentals of driving. Like many teenagers getting behind the wheel for the first time, she was curious, excited and understandably cautious. But one quality stood out from the beginning: she was determined to learn and improve.

Anishka has always been academically driven, and with much of her time devoted to completing Year 12 and preparing for the HSC, driving sometimes had to take a back seat. Even so, she did an impressive job of balancing her commitments and finding opportunities to practise whenever she could.

After completing her initial lessons with us, Anishka continued building her experience by driving regularly with her parents. Once the HSC was behind her and she had completed her required driving hours, she returned to Tailwind with a new goal — getting herself genuinely test-ready.

What impressed us most was that Anishka never treated passing the driving test as a race.

She understood that being ready mattered more than simply booking the earliest available test. Instead, she focused on becoming a safer, more confident and more consistent driver with every lesson. We continued working together until both Anishka and her instructor felt confident that she was ready.

And that patience paid off beautifully.

Anishka passed her driving test on her very first attempt, achieving an outstanding score of over 95%.

It was a fantastic result, but even more rewarding for us was seeing how far she had come — from a cautious new learner mastering the fundamentals to a confident young driver ready to enjoy her independence on the road.
