Ashutosh

Ashutosh and his wife, Nepali nationals, migrated to Australia a couple of years ago. Ashutosh is pursuing a masters in Social Works, and also works in the CBD to manage the family. "I love it here in Australia. The quality of life offered here and the job opportunities are unmatched.", says Ashutosh.

Since their arrival, Ashutosh has been driving his Honda Civic whenever necessary. "Car is an essential part of life here in Australia. One can feel handicapped without a car", feels Ashutosh.

With the recent changes in the regulation, that felt more abrupt than it actually was, it became critical for Ashutosh to secure an Australian license so that he could continue to drive and manage his life. "I was sort of caught offguard with the changes" Ashutosh admits, "but I had no time to waste. And do I started planning".

Ashutosh started researching about driving schools in and around the area to help him prepare. He ended up contacting a driving school with a great repute and popularity amongst the Nepali community. "Unfortunately he was too busy to take any new learners in", Ashutosh recalls. "But he asked me to contact Tailwind and vouched for their quality of service."

"Further, I contacted SK from Tailwind on his number and spoke with him. He mentioned that he will suggest the number of classes based on an initial one hour session. And so I went with that" says Ashutosh.

SK, as always, was focussed on analysing and identifying the weak areas and technical glitches, and then focussing on priority issue fixes. "Like most other expats, I have been having trouble with blind spot checks, bad steering habits and ocassional vehicle positioning issues. SK quickly identified these and started giving me suggestions on fixing these from day 1. He was patient and persistent, and ensured that I was prepared to succeed in the test with a very high score, which is eventually what happened." Ashutosh recalls.

With just 2 minor errors, Ashutosh performed extremely well in the test. "All of a sudden, the test looked so easy. I was very familiar with all the test routes and I did not make any signalling or headcheck mistakes. Now I am busy promoting his services to all my friends who are after a driving instructor in and around Hornsby. Tailwind is simply the best!" signs off Ashutosh.
