Fiona

Fiona, originally from Thailand, is an aged care professional and a mother of 3 who lives in one of the beautiful northern suburbs. She has to travel pretty far to work, and currently is supported with her commute by her husband and her in-laws.

Fiona believes that ability to drive solo brings her the much needed flexibility and freedom. Given a chance, she would love to not bother others with her needs.

She had attempted a driving test a while back, and unfortunately that did not go to plan. That is when Fiona realised that she needs a professional to help her with the journey.

She found out about Tailwind from one of the Facebook Thai community, where one of our learners had provided a good feedback about us. We are extremely greatful to that learner, and this feedback made the decision easy for Fiona. She quickly signed up for our test preperation package .

We put a plan together. After assessing her driving for aout 30 minutes during the first lesson, we made a detailed list of everything she had to work on to be a safe driver who could also pass the test with ease. We then started doing mock tests and it was extremely satisfying to see how well she was able to absorb the feedback and execute very well the next time.

In about 5 classes, she was more than ready. From observation checks to vehicle positioning, decision making to speed management, she had it all under control. And that truly reflected in her test as well where she score almost a 100%! Barring 2 minor positioning errors, she drive perfectly well, so much so that the assessor was amused why such a good driver would be so unbelievably nervous in the test.

Fiona is now a proud Australian full license holder! From a huge setback in her first attempt to scoring almost a perfect score in the second, she has come a long way, and she can be super proud of her achievement, as are we!
