Hari
Hari, originally from the state of Tamilnadu in India, recently migrated to Australia and now lives near Hornsby with his wife and daughter, along with his sister and brother-in-law. His wife and daughter arrived in Australia before him, and while his wife is currently employed, Hari is actively exploring job opportunities that align with his professional experience and skills.
Since settling in Australia, Hari and his family had relied heavily on his sister and brother-in-law for transport. Obtaining an Australian driver licence would give Hari and his family greater independence, reduce their reliance on relatives, and provide him with more flexibility to attend interviews, meetings and appointments. It would also open the door to additional income opportunities while he continued his search for the right professional role.
Hari brought valuable driving experience from India, but his main challenge was adapting his skills to Australian road conditions. He needed to develop a thorough understanding of local road rules, observation techniques and safe driving practices so that he could drive confidently, safely and legally in Australia.
From his very first lesson, Hari demonstrated remarkable determination and focus. In addition to completing lessons with Tailwind Driver Training Academy, he practised regularly with his sister and brother-in-law whenever the opportunity arose. He listened carefully to every instruction, welcomed constructive feedback and asked thoughtful questions to clarify even the smallest doubts. His commitment to getting every detail right was evident throughout his learning journey.
An unfortunate setback during his first driving test meant Hari had to wait a little longer to achieve his goal. However, he responded with resilience, continued refining his skills and made his second attempt count.
Today, Hari is the proud holder of a full Australian driver licence and is ready to embrace greater independence, new opportunities and the next chapter of his life. The family’s driving journey also continues, with Hari’s wife now preparing to work towards obtaining her first driver licence.
Congratulations, Hari! Everyone at Tailwind Driver Training Academy wishes you continued success and many years of safe and confident driving.
