Janith

Janith migrated from Sri Lanka to Australia a little less than a year ago. He is an atumobile mechanic by profession, and works as a mechanic at a premier automobile service center at Artarmon. He travelled all the way from Artarmon to Hornsby for his classes!

Janith's work requires him to not just service the vehicle, but also do a road test of the vehicle, and also move them around as and when needed. However, he has had to rely on his team members with license to help with these activities, essentially resulting in inefficiencies at work. A drivers license had becomes extremely important to him.

Janith was referred to us by one of his best mates, who happened to be another wonderful learner of ours. Given that he had a lot of driving experience in Sri Lanka, the focus was more about fine tuning his skills and habits to bring them at par with Australian standards. This meant some new learning and a lot of unlearning. Janith stayed focussed throughout, and while he missed out on his first attempt, he more than made up for it in his second attempt.

Janith is now a proud full Australian license holder. He is now far more independent at work, and can manage more activities without having to rely on another person.

We are incredibly proud with his performance in the test, and wish him the very best, and many safe drives going forward!
