Kanika

Kanika, a senior finance professional originally from New Delhi, India, lives with her husband in Sydney’s northern suburbs. Ambitious and hardworking, she greatly values the independence and flexibility that come with being able to drive. Alongside her successful finance career, Kanika is also building a promising food business that is quickly gaining popularity and attracting a growing customer base.

Managing a demanding career and an expanding business requires both efficiency and mobility. Kanika frequently travels for business and previously relied on her husband for transportation. That has now changed. As the proud holder of a full Australian driver licence, she is ready to drive independently, manage her commitments more efficiently and take her growing business even further.

Kanika began lessons with Tailwind Driver Training Academy only a few months ago. She brought considerable driving experience from India, which gave her a strong foundation. However, she also needed to refine certain habits and adapt her skills to Australian road rules and driving conditions. Our lessons focused particularly on observation checks, manoeuvres and hazard response. Meanwhile, Kanika consistently demonstrated excellent speed management, sound decision-making and confident vehicle control.

Hornsby is widely regarded as a challenging location for a driving test, making a score above 95% an outstanding achievement. Kanika narrowly missed passing on her first two attempts despite scoring above 95% each time. Rather than allowing those setbacks to discourage her, she approached her third attempt with renewed confidence, determination and focus. Once again, she achieved an exceptional score above 95%—and this time secured her full Australian driver licence.

The saying, “Fall down seven times, stand up eight,” perfectly captures Kanika’s journey. Her perseverance is a powerful example of how resilience, preparation and self-belief can ultimately lead to success.
