Pratik and his young family moved to Australia from India just a few months ago. An android developer by profession and father of a busy one year old, there is a lot on Pratik's plate. "I have realised that it is virtually impossible to live in Australia without a license. From grocery shopping to taking family out, there is so much I could do better by just being able to drive here", says Pratik.

Pratik's first choice of searching for a professional help in this regard was the local whatsapp community. "There is a whatsapp group for Indian community living in Hornsby and Waitara area that I find very useful. People regularly ask questions there, and members are very helpful in answering them", quotes Pratik. "And when someone asked a question about a reliable driving instructor in the area, several members mentioned Tailwind."

"A little more digging, and I got to know that all of those recommendations were genuine and by those who had already used their services." continues Pratik. "This gave me the confidence that they must be doing something right. I subsequently spoke with SK from Tailwind, and decided to go ahead with them!"

Pratik started off with a trial session, and SK gave him an overview of driving best practices, and a thorough understanding of how the driving tests work in Australia. "While I have been driving in India, I realised how much more organised and different driving rules in Australia are." says Pratik. After a good trial session, Pratik went ahead with a 5 hour session with Tailwind.

"During these sessions, not only did I gain confidence in driving smoothly, I also got extremely familiar with the test routes in Hornsby. That was very comforting." Pratik quotes.

"I did extremely well in the driving test, and thanks to those 5 sessions, I felt very well prepared and confident even before the test. And there it was! In my first attempt, I secured my full Australian license." says a visibly relieved Pratik. "It would have been hard to find another test slot if I had not been successful. I am delighted that Tailwind prepared me so well. And now, on to hunt for my first car in Australia!" Pratik signs off with excitement and relief!
