Akshita

After amazing success of her mother, Shalini, in her first attempt after learning with us a few months ago, it was time for Akshita.

Akshita is a nursing student at a premier university in Sydney. She is a frequent traveller between her current living place near her university and her home near Hornsby. She is a great enthusiast of cars in general, and keenly follows car modifications, as well as car racing and drifting. She has been waiting long enough to get a first hand experience of driving solo, and has been slowly and steadily getting her hours up in the logbook.

Akshita was almost touching the 100 hours mark when, and she and her parents decided it is time to get some professional help. The main objective was to learn driving best practices, focus on the details and get test ready. After having seen success in Shalini's case, it was not very difficult for them to decide on going ahead with us at Tailwind for Akshita as well.

Akshita made use of her presence at Hornsby every weekend to do the class. We focussed on everything from steering to observation checks to potential hazard response, as well as manouvres. Having already had a heads up to driving, Akshita was quick to learn everything.

10 classes later, 2 of which were done immediately prior to the driving test, a confident Akshita went into the test in anticipation, and came out of the other end successfully with a 95%+ score. She just achieved a major milestone in her life - the first step towards realising some of her biggest dreams!

We are very thankful to Shalini and Akshita for their trust in us, and we are extremely glad to have helped them in their journey to total independence. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Akshita on her success, and wish her many safe drives going forward!
