Pandu and Praveen

This is a unique success story of an Uncle (Pandu) and his nephew (Praveen), both of whom learned driving with Tailwind.

"Both of us are almost new drivers, and so we had to start from scratch." says Praveen. "And we wanted to seek help of a professional instructor who would help us succeed in the quickest time."

"And we had already bought a car" Pandu adds. "Now the situation was that we have a car and no one to drive."

Praveen is a university student who also works part time at a fast food joint. One of his ex-colleagues, Abreez, had taken classes from Tailwind and had passed the test in his first attempt. Abreez was very impressed with Tailwind and suggested that Praveen and Pandu also take lessons from here.

"Tailwind was highly recommended by Abreez. And that gave me confidence, and I contacted them." says Praveen. "Specifically for me, it was a bit tricky as I also had to have a 120 hours in my logbook. So after taking a few lessons first from Tailwind and strengthening my fundementals, I got my hours up with a few friends of mine who already had full Australian license. And as the test date neared, I took a few more lessons from Tailwind to familiarise myself with the test routes, and also ensure that I am well prepared for the test. And I was delighted to perform really well in my first attempt!"

Pandu took a few good lessons from Tailwind. However, he missed out on the first couple of attempts by a very small margin. And it was then a third time charm, coincidentally the test happening on the same day and just after Praveen's. "It was a fabulous day for us as a family. From having a car and no driver, we were suddenly 2 drivers in the family" says a delighted Pandu. "Now we share the drives as we go on long trips. And we are totally enjoying the drives."

It is not often that you see multiple members of the same family succeeding on the same day with the help of the same driver trainer. And when that happens, it is quite a delight for all of us!
